Pyjama Day

 

Tuesday, November 5th, will be Pyjama Day at St.Rita School. We are asking the children to bring in $1.00 donation. All money will be going to United Way. 

Today, your child is bringing home their Parent Teacher interview form. Due to our large number, flexibility is limited. Therefore, if you prefer a telephone interview please let us know by checking the bottom of the form. We will contact you on a different day. School interviews will be held on Wednesday, November 6th.

Halloween Day...

On Thursday, October 31st, we will be having an "Orange & Black Day" at school.  The Kindergarten students are invited to wear orange and black clothing for Halloween.  You are welcome to pack a healthy snack for your child that is orange and/or black.  Due to food allergies, we appreciate your cooperation in not sending Halloween treats to school.  Thank you!  Looking forward to a fun day! 

Picture Retake and Classroom Picture Day

A reminder that this Friday, October 25th, is our Picture Retake Day. You can write us a note in your child`s agenda if you want their picture retaken. New children to our school will have their picture taken on that day.

Please note that our classroom picture is also on Friday. Make sure your child attends school.

We would like to wish all of our families a blessed Thanksgiving!  Through our discussions, songs and stories this past week, it was such a pleasure to hear about all the special things that our students are thankful for. Enjoy the precious time you spend with loved ones this weekend!

Welcome!

We would like to welcome all our new and returning kindergarten students and their parents to St.Rita school. Today was our first day with all our JK and SK students. For the first month, our focus will be on implementing new routines. We are thankful for all the blankets, shoes and suggested supplies that have already come in. At home, when putting on shoes and coats, please take some time each day to encourage independent dressing. Children feel more confident at school when they are self-sufficient in their cubby routines.
